![]() ![]() Jacob Roach of Digital Trends noted that the GTX 1630 released in 2022 was outperformed by an AMD Radeon RX 470 from 2016. TechSpot characterized the GTX 1630's specs as a "cutdown version of the GTX 1650" from April 2019 which is "3-year-old silicon that to put it mildly was pretty pathetic back then". He concluded that "no one should give the GTX 1630 the time of day" and instead recommended the GTX 16 Super for their dramatically improved specs and performance for a similar price. ![]() Walton wrote that "the only real contender for the GTX 1630 is AMD's recently launched Radeon RX 6400, but this new Nvidia card actually makes the lackluster 6400 look good". A two-star review by Jarred Walton in Tom's Hardware criticised its price, especially considering that it was released 3 years after most of the 16 series, while only performing better than the GTX 1050. ^ a b Texture fillrate is calculated as the number of TMUs multiplied by the base (or boost) core clock speed.įollowing its June 2022 release, the GTX 1630 received negative reviews.^ a b Pixel fillrate is calculated as the number of ROPs multiplied by the base (or boost) core clock speed.^ a b Core boost values (if available) are stated below the base value inside brackets.^ a b Shader processors : Texture mapping units : Render output units and Streaming multiprocessors (SM).^ In OpenCL 3.0, OpenCL 1.2 functionality has become a mandatory baseline, while all OpenCL 2.x and OpenCL 3.0 features were made optional. All TU117 GPUs use Volta's NVENC encoder (which has a marginally better improvement over Pascal) instead of Turing's. TU117 does not support Nvidia Optical Flow, which is useful for motion interpolation software. On April 22, 2019, coinciding with the announcement of the GTX 1650, Nvidia announced laptops equipped with built-in GTX 1650 chipsets. The cards have a PCIe 3.0 x16 interface, which connects them to the CPU, produced with TSMC's 12 nm FinFET process. The GeForce 16 series launched on February 23, 2019, with the announcement of the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. ![]() On March 18, 2019, Nvidia announced that via a driver update in April 2019 they would enable DirectX Raytracing on 16 series cards starting with GTX 1660, together with certain cards in the 10 series, a feature reserved to the RTX series up to that point. The 16 series does, however, retain the dedicated integer cores used for concurrent execution of integer and floating point operations. It comes in at 13.0 cm in length, 11.1 cm width and 2 SLOT height. The GeForce 16 series is based on the same Turing architecture used in the GeForce 20 series, omitting the Tensor ( AI) and RT ( ray tracing) cores exclusive to the 20 series. Nvidia’s GTX 1650 was released on the 23rd April 2019 for $149 USD. The recommended power requirement is 300 W since the graphics card has a TGP of 75 W. It does however have HDMI 2.0b as well as dual link DVI-D. The default GTX 1650 does not feature any display ports. The extra technologies in this card include NVIDIA GeForce Experience, NVIDIA Ansel, NVIDIA Highlights, Game Ready Drivers, HDCP 2.2, NVIDIA GPU Boost, NVIDIA Encoder (NVENC) (Volta). The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 is not VR Ready, does not have SLI support and also does not have RGB Lighting. This card supports DirectX 12, G-Sync, OpenCL 1.2, OpenGL 4.6 in addition to shader model 6.5. Powering this card is the Nvidia Turing 12nm architecture with 4.7 Billion transistors as well as 56 texture units and 32 ROPs. It is not VR and supports resolutions of up to 7680×4320 at 120 Hz. Furthermore, the memory has a bandwidth of 128 GB/s with an 128-bit interface. It comes with 4GB of GDDR5 memory as standard running at 8000 MHz. The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 features 896 Cuda Cores with a base clock of 1485 MHz and a boost clock of 1665 MHz.
